Youth Organizing

Youth organizing is a strategy that trains young people to engage in collective action to improve institutions in their communities that directly affect them.
About BHCA's B.L.O.C Team!

Funded by the Perrin Family Foundation, BLOC (Building Leadership and Organizing Capacity) is a three-year cohort-based capacity building program designed to build the research, analysis, campaign development and organizing capacity of high school age youth-led social change groups in CT. As a member of the second BLOC cohort, our goal is to support young people to develop, launch, and implement organizing campaigns that lead to concrete and lasting change around the issues that youth have identified.
